100 Blackout Poems is a project that was inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s six-word stories and Nayyirah Waheed’s poetry. It was a way to quickly generate ideas on a daily basis using newspaper articles. I am interested in finding poetry in the banality of the everyday. Some of these poems appeared in Diode Poetry Journal.
Poems created using strips of paper cut out of old medical books. The challenge was to create something poetic out of the pragmatic text. These poems appeared in Diode Poetry Journal.
